Who Is Jamie Swaine

Jamie Swaine is a British Sailor and Power boater who has a wealth of experience not only in Blue Sail passages but also when transversing the vast inland network or rivers and canals that exist within the European water systems.

Having been a boater all his life and having a hands on history of over 15years, experience and knowledge is his forte. He has a substantial level of understanding when Powerboats are concerned having travelled as north as Germany and as South as Southern France on a Fairline Turbo 36.

Over the course of 15 Years Power boating, over 4000 Nautical Miles have been covered allowing for the depth and contrast of experiences to build up resulting in a confident and Safe Skipper Emerging.

With everything from 200nm Passages from London to Rotterdam or 25 from Dover to Calais, there hasnt been one experience that hasn t built Jamie up into the mariner that he is today. With an extensive knowledge of Engines, with being able to do Engine Checks to rebuilding and stripping Engines, it is imperative to remember that not only will you be receiving an experienced Mariner but also a knowledgeable mechanic.

Currently Studying at the University of Plymouth, I am  undertaking a BSCHons Degree in Navigation and Maritime Science, this ensures that not only am I fully knowledgeable in all fields but I am receiving the most up to date information possible and thus providing the safest service that I can.

As well as an extensive Powerboating background, I am also an experienced Sailor having covered over 2000+ nautical miles on many different yachts. I have sailed in the Baltic, Mediterranean, English Channel, North Sea and The Bay Of Biscay. All these trips have been fundamental in the development and enhancement of not only my sea faring abilities but also my Seamanship abilities as well. Professionalism and due care and attention are at the forefront of my mind any time that I go to sea and this is mirrored in my references from persons that I have worked for in the past.

Having worked for Yacht Delivery companies,  I have picked up a wealth of experience and tips and I can only praise the services and experience that I have received. I have done many deliveries as Both deckhand and first mate and worked on many yachts ranging of different qualities and specifications. At all times however, no matter the vessel, the upmost care and respect will be taken for your vessel making sure its delivered in a better condition than when we receive it.
