Sailing Yachts For Hire

The Norfolk Broads and Suffolk Broads combine the very best in leisurely and relaxed holidays, with an enviable combination of gently flowing rivers, beautiful countryside, pretty rural villages and large open and safe broads. Here at Martham Boats we offer a wide range of Sailing Yachts, most of which were built here at our boat yard in Martham during the 1940’s and 1950’s. All of our Sailing Yachts are handcrafted and have been constructed to blend in with the romantic views of both the Norfolk Broads and Suffolk Broads and their wildlife.

All Martham Boats Sailing Yachts have everything you need for that special sailing holidays on the Norfolk Broads . You can choose from our largest yachts, which have 8 berths to our smallest yachts which have 2 berths. With comfortable accommodation for you and your family, they are designed to give you the excellent sailing performance you would expect. Sleeping bags and crockery are provided.

With a lavishly furnished interior and accommodation for up to 9, America is ideal for families, groups of friends or even for corporate events. There are two double cabins, a spacious saloon with a settee/double berth and two quarter berths, cd/radio, warm air heating, hot water, shower, toilet and basin. The galley has a four burner hob with oven and grill and an Isotherm fridge. All crockery and bed linen (sleeping bags) are provided. The headroom is substantial at 6’6’ with the hydraulic lifting cabin roof raised. With new sails and full length awning fitted in 2012, and a Nanni inboard diesel engine, this traditional gunter/gaff sloop is a magnificant way to travel the broads.

Please note that America is not suitable for inexperienced sailors, experience of sailing on rivers is required along with a minimum crew of 4.

This traditional cruising yacht has excellent sailing qualities with accommodation to match. Sleeping up to 6 people and a headroom of 6ft with the side lift hinged roof raised, Camellia has 2 double and 2 single berths, warm air heating, hot water, shower, razor point, CD/radio and a spacious cockpit. The galley comprises a hob, oven and grill along with an Isotherm fridge. All crockery and bed linen (sleeping bags) are provided.
