This 1979 35’ Chris Craft 350 Catalina Cruiser was damaged in Hurricane Sandy. Boat did not appear to have been submerged, but interior was wet from rain coming in through the fractured hull/deck joint and broken windows. Fiberglass hull is in poor condition with chalky gelcoat. Port transom, approximately 14’ port aft hull/deck joint, approximately 3’ port rub rail at bow, port topside 1’X18” hole, 31” port chine, port transom corner 19”x5”, and various deep gouges in gel coat and fiberglass. Starboard transom has six 1” to 2” gouges in transom corner and approximately 23’ of hull/deck joint is damaged. Topside and deck is fractured forward at the port light. No batteries sighted at time of inspection. No equipment was tested as no power to boat at time of inspection.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Salon with dinette, galley, two staterooms and single head. Carpet in poor condition, faded. Headliner in good condition.

GALLEY:

Refrigerator, Norcold, in poor condition, not tested; Stove, Princess, appears serviceable but not tested.

STATEROOMS:

Forward V Berth has 2 bunk beds, hanging closet, storage. Forward has fractured hull/deck joint to starboard

Aft Master stateroom has 2 beds with storage, hanging closet and nightstand with drawers. Aft has fractured hull/deck joint to port.

HEAD:

One head with stand up shower, vanity with mirror. Electric head was dislodged during storm.

EXTERIOR:

A/C Luminaire appears serviceable but not tested

Bimini frame is stainless steel. It has come apart in several areas but appears repairable.

Bridge layout has helm to port with single helm seat and table and crew seating aft.

Canvas is torn in various areas and in poor condition.

Electronics: Icom M127 VHF, Garmin GPSmap 232, Garmin Fishfinder 160 and 3” Ritchie compass. Electronics appear serviceable but not tested.

Gauges and controls appear serviceable but not tested.

Railings: About 50% of railings were damaged/missing.

Rubrail in poor condition

Swim ladder in fair condition

Swim platform, teak, approximately 42” missing from port side.

Trim tabs in poor condition

Upholstery in good condition

Water heater: Raritan appears serviceable but not tested

Windlass: none sighted

Windows, Other: port aft cabin window and starboard forward port light broken

Windshield appears serviceable

Wood type flooring damaged

ENGINES:

Twin Marine Power Model 350 235HP gas inboard engines appear serviceable but not tested.


TRANSMISSION: Paragon transmission appears serviceable but not tested.

Generator: Onan 6.5K appears serviceable, but not tested.

TRAILER: None

Florida 6% state sales tax will apply for Florida residents.

Storage charges will accrue after the 10 day grace period. Loading fees will apply if no trailer included. Buyer is responsible for loading fees.
