This is a beautiful 2002 28′ Chris Craft Launch. Its has twin staggered 5.7 Volvos, fast powerful boat. Great for Lake Michigan day trips. You can cruise in 2′ chop with a very smooth ride. Easily can seat 12 peeple with room to spare. If you are not familiar with this boat, it is a higher end luxury boat with a very roomy layout and a 10′ beam. It has a wetbar, fridge, head with sink. 225 hours on the motors. Electronics include a new Pyle Stereo with sub-woofers, cd player, Ipod inputs, sat. radio. Has a brand new Marine radio and Chart plotter with GPS. This boat sells for over $130,000 brand new. If you want a very unique, high performance, beautiful boat with retro style and higher end luxury, this is the boat for you and a huge discount from a new one. I am the second owner of the boat, I purchased it in Miami from the original owner in 2006 with 95 hours on the engines. The reason I went to Miami to buy it was because in 2006 when I was looking for this boat specifically, you couldn’t find any used ones in the midwest. This boat has been used in Lake Michigan since 2006. It was always stored in rack in/out storage (Both in Miami and Michigan) and in heated storage in the winters. I have put a lot of money into this boat getting rid of any/all salt water issues, new starters, alternators, water pumps, exhaust manfolds, rebuilt heads on the starboard engine with new 6 manifold riser upgrade from Chris Craft recall, new morse cables, new electronics, new batt charger, marine radio, and stereo. Mechanically/electronically this boat is SOUND and runs very well. The only thing mechanically I haven’t done anything with were the outdrives because there was never a need to and the boat always ran great. The only other thing I didn’t get to was the interior and carpet. It shows badly because of that and sitting in storage for the past 1-1/2 years since I moved (its dirty. 5 photos included in this listing show current condition but it cleans up nicely, its just dirt!). The entire interior doesn’t have to be replaced completely, but the drivers bench seat does need to be re-done, and a few of the cushions could be re-done. I’ve priced it out and you could have new vinyl covers made if you had a good vinyl guy for a few thousand dollars. All the cushions are easily removed and can easily be replaced. The boat cover is almost at the end of its life, but there are two brand new covers (cockpit and bow) that come with the boat, I paid over $3,000 just for that directly from Chris Craft. The teak needs to be cleaned, and the boat needs a good buff and detail, but those are only cosmetic issues. There are some nicks and minor scratches in the hull from docking, but again only cosmetic issues. The only reason I am selling it is because I have moved out of state. I intended to keep this boat for a very long time and re-do the vinyl. However with this unexpected career move, I never got to it. These boats are selling in the $60-90K price range, Other notables: New single horn (2007) New Chartplotter (2007) New Marine radio (2007) New Stereo with subs (2007) New bilge pump (2010) New Morse cables (2012) New Battery charger (2013) It has a halon system in the engine compartment It has a fresh water shower on the swim platform It has through hull exhaust out the sides (sounds AWESOME, has a nice low grumble) It has snap in carpeting (carpeting could be replaced but still works) It has a teak table (I never used it) it stows away in the port storage locker It has NEW custom covers (Cockpit, Bow), replacement custom covers (cockpit, bow) I purchased from Chris Craft when I bought the boat. I was waiting for the current covers to fail before replacing them. The current covers still work fine. It does have a head and sink. It does have a bimini top (No side curtains, the bimini top cover zipper needs to be redone) There is no trailer included Accessories include: Life Jackets (12) 2 Bumpers Dock powerline Flair kit Custom lines (black) Has a wetbar and fridge (i never used the fridge) Pyle Marine Stereo, 100w amp, with subs, cd, ipod and xm radio 1-pair of kideer water skis couple of ski life jackets Built in battery charger with 3 batteries Fuel is 200 gals Water is 25 gals Trim Tabs Custom built in windlass with SS anchor You would be getting an incredible value for this model at this price, considering the prices of the same boats that show a lot better than this one does. You could put a few thousand dollars into this boat for vinyl and new carpet and have a comparable value boat of the higher priced ones. Even if you didn’t want to put anything into it at all, it still runs great, and is mechanically sound everything works and would be a great boat to own. I’ve enjoyed it for 6 years using it on Lake Michigan. I’ve taken amazing day trips to saugatuk, south haven, grand haven. The boat rides wonderfully, sounds fantastic, and rides incredibly smooth even in 2-3 foot chop. If you have any questions and need any more info, please feel free to call me at 312.498.2112 This boat is sold in as is condition with no warrantees or guarantees implied.
