Chris-Craft 21 boat

1956 Chris Craft Capri — project boat. This boat was purchased by my late father about 8 years ago. He pulled the engine out and most all of the exterior trim. There are no interior seats included. There is a used, late 1980s model trailer that does go with the sale of the boat (not title) that I will list a picture of later. The trialer itself is worth about $500 — 800. The value of the boat. Your guess is as good as mine. My dad paid over $10,000 for it, but that was at a time when these things were really sought after. I realize their value has since dropped and unfortunately the boat is no longer in one piece, but in many pieces as dad started the restoration process but never got too far which also decreases the value (and I’ve got too many projects of my own to piece it back together to re-sell it). You see the pics of the original 6 cylinder engine, and there are many pieces of stainless steel trim inside the shop too that go with the boat. The other photo is, I believe, the gas tank (long gray tank that has been primed, ready for paint). The other random photo is the rear hatch cover. I’m not familiar with these old boats at all, so I’m relying on the photos to tell the story. The boat has spent most of its life indoors since dad bought it, it was moved out of the shop under the cover you see about 2 years ago and has remained in good shape under multiple tarps and the overhead temporary shelter. It’s sitting on a custom made steel work stand that dad made out of an old trailer. So, you get the boat, all the parts in the shop, the motor, the work stand its sitting on, and the 1980s trailer to pull it home with. My dad was a lifelong collector of all things, mostly cars. He was very fond of this boat b/c it was in such good, original condition when he bought it. He also spent a good deal of extra $$$ buying replacement trim pieces for this boat online. That box of parts goes with the sale too. I would venture to guess there are several hundred dollars worth of parts that he bought from Chris Craft dealers. Please ask questions, I’ll do my best to answer them.
