I am passionate about the marine world with 33 years experience in all spheres of the shipping and yachting industry. Having started in ship agency operations, over the years, I have been involved in commercial and on board operations of chartered ships and managed port operations of dry bulk cargo ships with bulk commodities and heavy-lift project cargoes in worldwide ports. In addition, I have experience in construction as well as sales and marketing of luxury yachts. I would enjoy an opportunity to share my entrepreneurial skills and build an enterprise that will be the leader in the world of marine and leisure industry.

Among my notable achievements to date are the establishment of a leading ship agency, chartering and ship management company in India in 1979. which has the distinction to be the first company to attend to the loading and discharging of project cargoes and heavy-lifts and ranked amongst the top ship-agents in India. My entry in yachting in 1993 was a distributor in the Arabian gulf for a leading British brand ‘FAIRLINE” and amongst the many models sold to dealers and clients I sold the first built Squadron 65 ft fly-bridge motor yacht. I was awarded the third ranking worldwide yacht dealer for Azimut-Benetti Yachts Italy in 1997 the year when the first Azimut Jumbo 100 was delivered to a client in Dubai. I introduced and marketed large custom designed and built mega yachts under the “OCEANCO” brand in the Arabian Gulf, and positioned high quality semi custom yachts builder PR Marine amongst the top 10 yacht builders in 1999. I had the opportunity to conclude sales and build custom designed yachts for the royal families of UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain as well as for the President of the Maldives and high nett worth individuals in Asia and Americas. and established Platinum SuperYachts in the American markets in the new millennium.

I have been actively involved in the construction. sales and marketing of various boats and yachts and working with world-wide dealers and brokers as well as clients. My experience is in promotion and marketing unique products in the leisure marine industry with direct contacts to clients and agents mainly in emerging markets. I am passionate about the yachting world with over experience in all spheres of the yachting industry and enjoy being part of the marine fraternity. Over the years, I have built excellent contacts with yacht brokers, yacht dealers, clients, yacht designers and naval architects all over the world.

The company had been established to lend support to the large clientele in the yachting fraternity and sold custom built yachts for members of ruling families in the Arabian Gulf and the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Vohra relocated in the new millennium to establish the brand in USA and Canada and the company ranked amongst the top 10 builders in 2000 mainly due to efforts of the sales and marketing company.

INMAR Trading Dubai UB Marine FZE

INMAR was established as a LLC in the Emirates of Dubai in partnership with an Arab national, primarily as a global base for the family’s shipping business in India and to manage commercial cargo ships. Through the joint venture with the UB Group, the company obtained the agency for some of the leading yachting companies and sold for famous branded products such as FAIRLINE, BROWARD and represented OCEANCO as the Mideast sales representatives. The company introduced the brand name and displayed the 164 feet MY Indian Achiever as the show boat to the Arabian and Indian clientele which resulted in sales for the shipyard. INMAR was appointed as the Middle east agents for AZIMUT yachts and was awarded as the third ranking dealer in the world for AZIMUT in 1997. The company promoted private yacht charters and promoted and managed a seaplane service for the first time in UAE between Dubai creek and Abu Dhabi corniche under the CITYLINK brand.

Established in 1979, as a shipping agent and chartering brokers in India, with its head office in Bombay and branch offices at all Indian ports. The company has a specialized heavy-lift and project cargo division and has transported most of the large projects in the Indian subcontinent.
